The Knights of Columbus Council 2464 thank local firefighters and others who helped to save lives and property. The community poured out their hearts to those who fought the fire with gifts of food and supplies. Because of your support, the Knights of Columbus Council 2464 and the Community Fire Meal Preparation Team prepared hot meals for the firefighters.

With all the riots, needless destruction, and other evils in this great country that we see every night on the news, here in our local community we see people from all walks of life coming together in peace, harmony and giving help to each other. The outpouring from our community shows us that God is still working within us despite the world’s problems.

For those who gave of their time and talents to put all of this together, may you be blessed. For those who could provide this effort with the supplies and financial help, may you also be blessed. And for those who prayed for all who needed help and were concerned with the welfare of others, may you be richly rewarded.

There are so many people to thank. Faces of strangers are now friends and neighbors. We hope this doesn't happen again, but if it does, we know that there are people who care and will be there to help. You have something to be proud of. Again Thank You. We continue to pray for those who lost their property and give thanks that no lives were lost! We all hope for a quick end in this fire season. God Bless You!
