ROUNDUP MAIN STREET SCULPTURE UPDATE

January 22, 2020

Approximately one year ago when the Teddy Blue Abbott Monument committee decided to go public with plans for this project, the time and artistry for which is a gift by Greg Eiselein to the community, we knew that raising the necessary funds for materials and outside workmanship would be a high mountain to climb. However, we have been extremely gratified by the support we have received from grant awards and the community and former residents. We currently have funding in place for creation of the mold once Greg has completed the detail work and are more than half way to having the funding either in place or committed for pouring of the bronze, which is the most costly part of the project.

Recent donors with our deep gratitude are: Rimrock Realtors®, Greg and Connie Mattfield, Rob and Kathy Barr, and Bob and Joyce Egeler. Additional donations have been received from Vicki Kombol, Donna Marmon, Mike and Lulu Morgan, KLMB radio, and Curt and Laureli Scribner. New Drovers are Gordon and Darlene Kilby, Bill and Sara Walker, the Kowalski Family (Ron, John, Sandy and Doreen), Bob and Judy Worthington, Kris Schaff, and NorthWestern Energy. New donor Riding Point is Musselshell Valley Equipment.

Greg is also being supported in part by a grant from the Montana Arts Council, an agency of State Government.
