Elizabeth Ann Mikkelson

Elizabeth Ann Mikkelson, 68, of Billings passed away peacefully Saturday, December 16, 2023 at RiverStone Health Hospice Home with her sister by her side.

Beth was born August 21, 1955, in Lovell, Wyo., to Donald J. and Bobbie J. (Ebert) Brewer, the youngest of three children. The family lived in Powell, Wyo.; Cody, Wyo., and Billings, Mont., before moving to Roundup, Mont. in 1966.

Beth graduated from Roundup High School in 1973. She married Rodney Mikkelson in Roundup on May 3, 1974. They had two sons, Ryan, and Reid, and later divorced.

Beth worked at Roundup Memorial Hospital until moving to Kalispell, Mont., in 2000 to attend Flathead Valley Community College. She earned her associate degree and became a certified medical assistant. In 2009 she moved to Billings to be closer to family.

In addition to spending time with family and friends, Beth had a passion for country music and live concerts, and was an avid fan of Keith Urban. She attended many of his concerts across the country with her friend Roxann.

Beth is survived by her two sons, Ryan Mikkelson, Jamestown, N.D.; and Reid (Aimee) Mikkelson, Bozeman, Mont.; two grandsons, Braeden Mikkelson and Bryce Mikkelson, Bozeman, Mont.; two granddaughters, Jordan Mikkelson, Jamestown, N.D.; and Brynlee Mikkelson, Bozeman, Mont.; two nephews, Louis (Tonia), Roundup, Mont.; and Chris (Katie), Roundup, Mont.; sister, Judith Brewer, Billings, Mont.; and brother, David (Dosie) Brewer, Billings, Mont.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Bobbie, several aunts and uncles, and friend Kayleen Youde.

A public service has been held. A private burial will be held at Roundup Cemetery.
