Cory Dale Canfield was born in Centralia, Washington on December 25, 1975, to John and Debbie Canfield. He was raised in Centralia but moved to Montana where he lived most of his adult life until his passing on November 21, 2023.

He met Jenny Allen, the love of his life when she was working the Drive-up window at the Grand Mound Dairy Queen. They dated and later married on June 17, 1995.
