Gilin Scott Jones passed away on Thursday September 21st following a battle with cancer. He was born on October 31, 1938. He is survived by his two daughters Diana Jones of Omaha NE and Julianne Burgi of Kalispell MT, two sons Scott Jones of Davison MI, and Steven Jones of Newcastle CO, his grandchildren Haley, Eden, Abbey, Robert, Isabelle, Grayson, Zak and Artemis and great granddaughter Zoey. He is also survived by his Sister Cleo Loomis of Casper WY.

Gilin served in the Marine Corp for four years and he loved the outdoors as well as fishing and hunting. He was a passionate American legion baseball coach for several years in Casper before moving to Colorado and then settling in Winnett Montana. The family is planning a military service in Casper WY in the spring of 2024.
