No one can resist the little BBQ take-out at the Big Sky Motel, whether it's for the waffles, or the barbeque dinners. After several months of success at the small take-out diner, they have stepped up to a new location with indoor dining. The new location at 101 Main was previously "The Corner Café", and "The Cattle Drive Coffee & Bakery".

The Coal Miners Hall room where the Mine executives roomed upstairs in apartments, the miners bunked downstairs in dorms

This re-opening is great news for the public who wants to dine, and great for the Barbeque. The business has been such a success, and the public demand for indoor dining will satisfy the need for more dining in Roundup. The old building was used in early days to house the coal miners and the mining executives. The executives lived upstairs in the apartments, and the miners bunked in the basement. The main floor hall was used as a community room for all the miners. Morgan explains that his family ancestors were also coal miners. The South side of the building is going to be renamed the 'Coal Miners Hall" to honor the history of the building, and the BBQ will use it for events and extra seating. Over the grand re-opening on December third, the room was used for live music, crafts, and art display, and extra sitting space.

Morgan and Joey started small from the Big Sky Motel. The small menu was on point, and everyone loves the food. "Simple and familiar, with a little something different", Morgan states. They have upgraded the menu, with several new items, and a full selection of breakfasts. We wish Morgan and Joey as much success in the new location that the small take-out had. Congratulations on your Grand Re-Opening!
