Vitalant Hosts Roundup Community Blood Drive

Roundup, MT – Join Vitalant, your local community blood provider and our Roundup Volunteers, at the Roundup Community Blood Drive on July 21st from 12pm-5:30pm at the Musselshell County Emergency Operations Center. There is no substitute for blood, and the community faces a 40% decreases in donations during summer season. We are experiencing a shortage greater this summer than summers in recent years. We are in CRITICAL need of all blood types.
Vitalant is the only blood provider to more than 30 hospitals across Montana and the Northern Wyoming region. The blood supply is dependent on selfless donations from volunteer donors to ensure the lifesaving needs of the region are met.
Donors can make a convenient appointment to give blood at donors.vitalant.org or call Jan at 323-1530. With each donation, donors receive a free total cholesterol test and earn points in Vitalant’s rewards program.
Blood donation takes about an hour from check-in to refreshments. Donors can save about 20 minutes by completing their Fast Track Health History the day they donate on http://www.vitalant.org/health
