82, passed away on April 24, 2022.

Virginia "Ginny" was born on May 22, 1939, to George Charles "Buck" McCleary and Ida Vranish McCleary. She was raised in Gibbtown, attended elementary school at Klein and high school in Roundup, Montana. After graduating from Roundup High School, she worked for a law firm in Roundup for several years and then moved to California where she met and married her husband, Lee Casey. She worked at numerous jobs in California, but most of her working career was spent in Law Enforcement. She was a Police Officer in Mountain View, California and then a Deputy for the Santa Clara County Sheriff Department. When she retired from the Sheriff Department, they moved to Cathlamet, Washington, where she lived the remaining of her years.

She was very devoted to her husband and best friend, Lee, her dogs, and her family. She always said her dogs are her children. She was very talented, a good cook, seamstress, and a Master Gardener. She loved being outside, working in her garden and working in her yard, taking care of all their apple trees and her flowers. She even enjoyed pulling weeds. She also had lots of beautiful house plants.

Ginny was preceded in death by her father, Buck McCleary, her mom, Ida McCleary and two brothers, George and Rick.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Casey, two dogs, Molly and Annie. Her sisters, Patricia Watkins, Roseann (Rob) Strain, and Charlene (Randy) Schwegman. Her brothers, Dennis (Nancy) McCleary, James McCleary, and Ronnie (Sharon) McCleary. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ginny, we will miss you and your colorful personality. We love you.

Funeral will be held by Dowling Funeral Home in Cathlamet, Washington. She has requested to be cremated and no services.
