Musselshell Valley Community Foundation Helps Fund Main Street Improvement

Musselshell Valley Community Foundation has awarded $10,000 to Roundup Community Partners to help construct Roundup’s 1st Welcome Plaza. This partnership will enable an important step forward in the intentional revitalization of our Main Street. This project will create an anchor development for Main Street and serve as a gateway to welcome visitors to Roundup and share information with our community.

The Plaza will include a Visitor Information Kiosk with informational signage and brochure racks to showcase Roundup’s attractions and activities. The intention for the Plaza and the Kiosk is: 1) to tell Roundup’s authentic story with a western feel while being low maintenance and high quality, and 2) to revitalize Main Street while preserving and showcasing what is special and unique about our community. On a larger scale the intention for the project is to encourage some of the 400,000 vehicles that annually pass-through Roundup to stop and engage in our local community and commerce.

Roundup Community Partners is extremely grateful to the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation for their support to enable the Welcome Plaza and Kiosk for the betterment of our community. We would also like to thank the Montana Tourism Grant Program, Musselshell County, City of Roundup, Signal Peak Community Foundation, AARP, Montana Main Street Program, Montana Community Foundation, Greg Wilhelmi, High Plains Architects, and all of our local donors and volunteers for their support of this project.

Thank you, Musselshell Valley Community Foundation, for being part of the team that enables this anchor development to help revitalize our Main Street! This improvement would not be possible without your support and the support of all our partners.
