DINNER AND A COMEDY PRODUCTION THIS WEEKEND

September 22, 2021

It is the pleasure of Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. and The Illustrious Musselshell Players to present to you, their faithful patrons, the entertaining and amusing comedy "Every Little Crook and Nanny," written by Pat Cook. A dinner and theatre production will be presented two evenings, Friday September 24, and again on Saturday, September 25. A final matinee performance will be presented on Sunday, September 26.

On Friday & Saturday the Illustrious Musselshell Players will begin seating guests at the Musselshell School Community Center for the three-course sit-down dinner at 5:30 sharp. (Note: the door does not open until 5:30). Much like a meal from Lillie Scones' boarding house, dinner will begin with an old-fashioned Jello salad and a cheese scone on the side. The main course will feature Salisbury steak smothered in savory gravy atop a bed of noodles with honey glazed carrots. The dessert will be a slice of pumpkin surprise cake. After dinner is served the cast and guests move to the upstairs auditorium for the evening finale, the presentation of "Every Little Crook and Nanny."

Reservations are required to attend the dinner theatre. The cost is $25.00 per person for the 3-course sit-down dinner and theatre performance. Seating is limited and tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Reserve your seat for the dinner theatre by calling, Ken Eickhoff (406-947-5200). If there is no answer, leave a detailed message. All messages will receive a return call.

On Sunday the cast returns for a matinee performance when the curtain goes up promptly at 2 p.m.-don't be late! The cost of the matinee is $10.00 per person (preschool free). No reservations are required to attend the Sunday matinee. Coffee and cookies will be served in the main hall after the performance. The raffle drawing for the patriotic cut art hanging will be held during or after the matinee.

Once in the Musselshell School auditorium you can step inside Lillie Scones' cozy boarding house where she lives with one boarder and "a cat the size of the Louisiana Purchase." She may only have one resident now but that soon changes when an old charge of hers rents a room. Who knows what will happen next. An evening may begin with a harmless game of Scrabble, but before it's over Lillie and her old nanny friends are joined by a chief of police, a suspicious fiancé, and a half-pint brat who can and will get into anything!

The cast includes the talents of Sherri Milburn, Norma Trent, Silvia Metzger, Ken Eickhoff, Ralph Goffena, Rowdy Burns, Patti Lang, Lynn Rettig, Nan Rademacher and Eric Goffena as Gerald Sims, a 10-year old con-artist brat. The back stage and backdrop has been created by Joanie Rettig, and still photography by Sandy Vongries.

FoMS is pleased to host this entertaining event. We wish to thank our faithful cast, who give much of their time, money, and talents, and our faithful supporters, who make this fundraiser a success. All proceeds go to operate the Musselshell School as a community center.

Be sure to come join the sweet, retired nanny, Lillie Scones, along with her friends for a classic comedy production full of twists and surprises fit for any audience. "Every Little Crook and Nanny" is produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company.
