Bull Mountain Trading Post opened the doors again on September 4th. The new owner Rex Moss, along with his Daughter Mandy Sims, and her daughter MaKaila Moss are all working at the store. Mandy and MaKaila moved just three weeks ago from Columbus Ohio, while Rex has been retired in Montana for seventeen years. He has been looking for a retail place to settle into for some time, and was happy when he found the Trading Post. Rex says he will be doing the official grand opening next spring.

No one in Roundup will ever forget our beloved Carla, the previous owner, who put her heart into the charming little store with a little bit of everything including a museum, and a store dog. The new owners are keeping the name and tradition, but the museum will no longer be included. Rex also said he will not be doing second hand or pawn, but is intending to do guns, ammo, optics, and will continue the gift shop as well.

The store will be open every day from 10am to 5pm, and possibly longer hours as the holidays approach. Here's wishing the new family business the best in the days ahead. It is great to see the lights on in the Bull Mountain Trading Post once again. It will be fun to see the new changes in the future.
