If you don't know Dan and KC Accord, you probably aren't from Roundup. Longtime residents of Musselshell County, Dan and KC have worked and raised their children in Roundup for many years. Having the Clean Heat

People in Musselshell county LOVE their animals. From deer and elk, cattle and sheep, to all the furry, sometimes scaly animals in between that we call our house pets. No exception to this is Dan and KC Accord who run KC's Custom Care, a dog and cat kenneling business, south of Roundup off of Ambush Road. KC says her business is names KC's Custom Care because some animals have special care needs, and she accommodates for special pets. Underpriced from any competition, KC boards pets for twelve dollars per day. This is half to over half a typical kennel charge. Naturally KC and Dan are incredibly busy and already booked for most holidays. Like any reservation, the earlier the reservation, the more likely you can book with the kennel. Her kennels are indoor/outdoor, heated and cooled with a radio, couch to sit on, and a yard to play and run in.

KC began kenneling years ago after the beloved "Doc Arthur" retired. She had been working for him and when he decided to retire, he gave his employees two months' severance pay. KC used this pay to begin her first kennel. Her primary motive was "to be able to see my customers", (dogs that she had gotten to know through working with Doc Arthur). I can relate to this from my time grooming pets. I have had some very special dogs that I dearly loved to see. I think most groomers, kennel owners, and veterinarians have this in common, we get attached to your pet. KC is no exception, and as we visited, she told me about her own three dogs and how they were all special and different, as well as explaining about some of her favorite "customers".

KC has built long term relationships with her customers and their pets. She has dogs that are "regulars" at her kennel and she looks forward to caring for them. If you are looking to find a kennel for your pet, you can check out KC's Custom Care and see if it is the fit for you and your fur baby. KC can be reached at 406-323-3199.
