Anastasia Darlene Hayes

The Lavina School Association is proud to introduce the Lavina High School graduating class of 2020. The first of these senior profiles is Anastasia Darlene Hayes. Anastasia was born June 2, 2002 on an Air Force base in Maryland. She grew up with a special needs younger brother and one older brother. Anna has always loved to work with children. Whether it was her brother or just the kids in school, she found it was her passion. She also grew up in the theater. Whether it was performing in shows or helping backstage, she loved the aspect of teamwork. She recently worked as a head counselor at a summer camp at one of the theaters in Billings and found her love for teaching there. Anastasia will be attending Rocky Mountain College in the Fall of 2020 and she will be pursuing a double major in special education and elementary education with a minor in math education. She says, "I never like to be bored so I might as well make the most of college." Anna is very excited to be a part of these experiences and she would like to thank her family and the Lavina community for accepting her and helping her discover her passion.

Rachaell Suhr

The Lavina School Association is proud to present our second member of the senior class, Rachaell Suhr. Rachaell was born September 29, 2001, in Guymon, OK. Rachaell's proudest achievement is winning overall commercial heifer at the Nile in Billings 2019. She plans to go to college at Northwestern in Powell, Wyoming and she is pursuing a career in Agricultural Business with a minor in Farm and Ranch Management. She chose this career path because she had a friend in the Ag. Business and that sparked her interest in the field. When asked about her thoughts for the future Rachaell says "I am excited to go to college and get a degree for something I am passionate about." Rachaell has participated in 4-H as well as showing cattle in her free time, she is also involved in Student Council and BPA. The thing that pushes her is a quote that reads, "If you do not succeed the first time, try again." She would like to thank her family, friends, and the school for pushing her to always do her best.
