Gov. Gianforte: Taxpayers Should Not Fund Elective Abortions

HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today issued the following statement after a more than a year of litigation surrounding the injunction of a Montana law which banned the use of taxpayer funds for elective abortions:

“Our law to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding elective abortions has been on hold for more than a year.
