Park Lights

One of the many things that makes Roundup a great place to live is the generosity of our community, charitable organizations and businesses. If you’ve been to the City Park over the past few years, it’s plain to see all the improvements that have been made. The Signal Peak Foundation has been very generous regarding park projects such as the new restrooms near the stage. The Signal Peak Foundation recently awarded the City a grant for new lighting at the park. These new lights will illuminate both the park and the tennis courts. This project, along with an earlier grant from the Signal Peak Foundation that awarded the city High Definition Security cameras, not only enhance safety and security but also provide extended hours, allowing our children more play time at the park.

Fergus Electric cooperative partnered with Electric Service Shop and donated a pole crew and truck for the day to set the poles at no cost to the City. Fergus Electric saved the city and its residents thousands of dollars as well!

The City would like to thank the Signal Peak Community Foundation for their generous donation and commitment to Roundup by supporting our parks. We would also like to thank Fergus Electric Cooperative for their help, providing their equipment and experienced linemen. We also want to thank Electric Service Shop for the lighting design and installation.
