On April 4, the Main Street Improvement Initiative Committee completed the paperwork and issued its first loan. The sole request to date came from a business in Melstone and was approved. It is hoped that with the coming of spring, more applications will be received.

The $100,000 in funds for this loan program were given to the Signal Peak Community Foundation last fall to institute a no-interest loan program for exterior improvements to Main Street businesses in Musselshell County.
