The Melstone Broncs & Lady Broncs traveled to Miles City last week for the Southern C Divisional tournament. The Lady Broncs had their first game of the tournament on Wednesday against the Ekalaka Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Broncs won 60-18 and advanced to the semi-finals on Friday night. The Melstone Broncs had their first game of the tournament on Thursday against the Roberts Rockets, the Broncs won 62-33 and advanced to the semi-finals on Friday night as well. In the semi-finals, the Broncs faced the Broadus Hawks, the Broncs won 42-34 and the Lady Broncs faced the Roberts Lady Rockets, Lady Broncs won 48-39, both teams advanced to the championship games on Saturday night. The Broncs faced the Harlowton Engineers in the championship game, losing 30-50, the Broncs have a challenge game against the Jordan Mustangs on Monday night in Miles City. The Lady Broncs faced the Custer/Hysham Lady Rebels in the championship, winning 62-38 and punching their ticket to the Class C State tournament in Great Falls. The Lady Broncs will play the Plentywood Lady Wildcats on Thursday afternoon. Best of luck to both teams!
