Candy Phillips with Abigail Pitman

After coming to Montana at the age of 16, and bringing back wild Mustangs to train, Candy Phillips fell in love with Montana, and dreamed about the Big Sky state one day being her home. She did many different things during her life, but six years ago she made the dream her reality and moved from Minnesota to Roundup, beginning the next chapter in her life. In September of 2023, she started a used tack shop at 136 Main Street, in the Bull Mountain Trading Post.

Previous to coming to Montana, Candy owned and ran a trail riding business. Now that she is in Montana, her previous clients also continue to be customers in her current location. While the destination trail riding business is still a service and work that she loves and continues to do, she has found a new interest and enthusiasm for the little tack shop. She is planning to expand to the whole building, bringing one-of-a-kind souvenirs and gifts of a western flair to Roundup

The new expansion will include hand crafted fur products from a local furrier, a line of soaps made especially for White Mule Enterprises from "Wicked Naturals", there will be a line of Montana candles, a men's shaving line, handmade scarves, leather vests, and more things to come. She will continue the full tack store with new and used equipment.

Don't miss Candy's Grand Opening April 6th. At 136 Main Street. She is also available by appointment or if she is in town, look for the OPEN sign. Candy's slogan is, "Wait until you see what we have in "store" for 2024".
