MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR MUSSELSHELL DINNER THEATRE

September 20, 2023

It is the pleasure of Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. and The Illustrious Musselshell Players to serve to you a hilarious melodrama spoof, "The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter" or "She was only a Miner's Minor", written by Pat Cook for the 20th Annual Dinner Theatre and Matinee productions at the Musselshell School Community Center. On the evenings of Friday, September 29, and again Saturday, September 30 a three-course dinner will precede the featured production. Performances close with a Sunday Matinee on October 1.

Come join Gabby, a grizzly old prospector who would like a different ending to the play, as he attempts to manage the cast of oddball characters that seemingly ad lib their way through the wildest plot ever to hit the Musselshell stage. Every person that crosses the stage entices the audience to lend an ear to their own saga/story, creating a chaotic scene that only the piano player seems to be able to control.

On Friday & Saturday seating begins when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. sharp. The three-course dinner begins with a marinated bean salad with a basket of honey butter glazed biscuits on the table. The main course will be a bed of home-style egg noodles smothered with creamy chicken and fresh steamed broccoli on the side. Dessert will feature fudge sundae cake adorned with a generous dollop of whipped cream lightly drizzled with mint sauce.

After dinner is served, the cast and guests move to the upstairs auditorium for the evening finale, when "The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter" will be performed.

The cost of the dinner-theatre is $25.00 per person. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE DINNER THEATRE. Reserve your seat today by calling 406-947-5200. If there is no answer, leave a detailed message. All messages will receive a return call. Seating is limited and tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis.

On Sunday the cast will return for a matinee performance. Come early as the curtain goes up promptly at 2 p.m.! The cost of the matinee is $10.00 per person (preschool free). No reservations are required to attend the Sunday matinee. Coffee and treats will be served in the main hall after the performance.

Come join this fun-loving 14-member cast as they attempt to recreate "The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter". The cast includes the talents of Lynn Rettig, Sherie Milburn, Ralph Goffena, Scott Praye, Ken Eickhoff, Silvia Metzger, Virginia Carlson, Robert Wayman, Morgan Adkins, Reva Dewitt, Nan Rademacher, Melissa Carlson, Joanie Rettig, and Kay Rosin is a piano player with an attitude.

FoMS are pleased to host this entertaining event. We wish to thank our faithful cast, who give much of their time, money, and talents to entertain us, Sandy Vongries, the photographer, Teresa Porter, the prompter, and our many faithful supporters. All proceeds go to operate the Musselshell School facility as a community center.
