Our theme was "Christmas Around the Block." The retreat committee got into the theme, and Abba's Haven was decorated for Christmas. Our club is 30 years old, and happily, we had a special presentation for two of the founding members. The two are Rene Evans and Annie Shirley.

Our group block project was to make house, tree, barn, and church blocks – as many as we wanted. Ultimately, the blocks were divided, and 3 lucky women got to take them home.

We played games between quilting. They were a dice game "left, right, center" and "Ugly fat quarters exchange." While quilting, Sharon Brewer demonstrated how to use the club's AccuQuilt cutter. We had a couple "silent auctions" to raise funds for next year's quilt retreat. Two vendors brought quilting fabrics, kits, and accessories on Friday and Saturday mornings. We were able to pick out our following new projects. Diana from Diana's Quilts in Harlowton came on Saturday, while Sew Peaceful from Lewistown came on Friday.

We had numerous door prizes – we all were winners. Donations came from Backdoor Quilt Shoppe, Bernina, Red Roof, Sew Peaceful, Diana's, Four Winds, Spring Blossom, and individuals on the committee.
