As many of you know the City has been working for more than 15 years to bring a new source of a of water to our city. A better quality of water has been the number 1 priority in every community needs assessment the city has had done.
The good news is that pipe is being laid in the ground and the new water is expected to be here by the end of next year. As expected there will be a water rate increase at that time but the city will do everything we can to keep that increase as minimal as possible.
Look for public meetings or hearings throughout the next year and feel free to stop in the office for more details.
