Sixteen fourth through eighth grade students competed in the Musselshell County Spelling Bee. An online test was taken through the Scripps online testing platform. Collin Cox, Katrina Gillis, Aspen Harper, Trent Lange, Boston Watkins, Onica Davis, Emily Toombs, Rhys Erickson, Baileyrae Pollex-Reuterskiold and Nathan Sherrick competed for Roundup Elementary. Maggie Eike, Jack Fish, Emma Collins, Brooke Seamster, Aunika McClintock and Danika Turk competed for Melstone.

Congratulations to Emily Toombs, the 2023 Musselshell County Spelling Bee Champion! Collin Cox and Boston Watkins tied for runner-up. Emily will now be eligible to compete in the Treasure State Spelling Bee to be held Saturday, March 11, at the MSU Strand Union Building in Bozeman, MT.
