On January 31, thirty fourth, fifth and sixth grade students competed in the school spelling bee. An online test was taken through the Scripps online testing platform. Students participating were Sidney Samuelson, David Moreau, Alex Russell, Elijah Mayfield, Lilly Reierson, Elias Giffin, Ella Sharbono, Grayson Perrella, Devin St. Pierre, Legacy Harr, Boston Watkins, Silas Murray, Hayden Anthony, Onica Davis, Baileyrae Pollex-Reuterskoild, Collin Cox, Rhys Erickson, Ethan Klise, Kat Braun, Tyler Brewer, Aspen Harper, Joshaun Harr, Emily Toombs, Trent Lange, David Fisher, Mathew McHenry, Nathan Sherrick, Kyle Shoup, Mercy Sanders and Katrina Gillis. Congratulations to, Boston Watkins, our 2023 Roundup Elementary School Spelling Bee Champion! The top ten spellers were Boston, Aspen, Baileyrae, Trent, Onica, Katrina, Emily, Collin, Rhys and Nathan. Great job!
The top ten spellers will now take the county spelling bee test using the same online platform. They will be competing against six students from Melstone.
