The second half of the season is getting under way and the Panthers will be spending some time on the road. This weekend was no exception as the Panthers headed for Shepherd to challenge the Mustangs on their turf. Earlier in the year the Panthers won a nail biter at home 65-63. The Mustangs have struggled a bit lately but the Panthers knew they would get their best effort on Friday. Kylen got the Panthers rolling early and off to a great start as the Panthers scored on three of their first four possessions. The Mustangs slowly got back into the game with some corner three-point shots and some driving baskets. The Panthers had nice balance as Jace, Braedan, and Dustin all chipped in during the quarter as the Mustangs lead 17-16 after one quarter. The second quarter was relatively ugly on the offensive end for both teams but the Panthers were a little better and Jace and Kylen helped the Panthers get out to a 30-22 advantage at the half. The third quarter was an even draw as both teams scored ten points but the in the fourth quarter the Panthers blew open the game with great ball and player movement and scoring opportunities. Also, the Panther defense limited the Mustangs to three points as the Panthers rolled 61-35.

Scoring was as follows: Kylen Wolff 23, Jace Lemmel 21, Braedan Bilden 11, Dustin Gairrett 4, and Jordan Olson 2.

After a short night of rest the Panthers were off to Colstrip for a non-conference battle. Colstrip and the Panthers had played a common opponent within the last couple of days and both had won. Both teams were playing well going into the matchup Saturday evening. The Panthers got off to a great start in a hostile environment scoring on their first three possessions. Three different Panthers scored as Braedan, Kylen, and Jace all made easy buckets. Morgan got into the act shortly thereafter and the Panthers were off and running. Colstrip recovered and made a nice run to cut the lead to 17-11 at the quarter. Colstrip scored to start the second quarter and Morgan had a nice play inside and made the foul shot from that point on it was the Kylen show on the offensive end. Kylen scored the next 13 points to finish out the quarter and help the Panthers build their lead to 33-20. The defense was just as solid as the offense as the Colts struggled to score consistently. Morgan and Evan came off of the bench and did a great job on the defensive end and gave some of our starters a much-needed rest. Both teams came out hot in the third quarter as it was evident adjustments were made in the locker room and players responded on both teams. Late in the quarter Evan made two big buckets for the Panthers to break the Colts rally. The fourth quarter defense by the Panthers was stifling led by Jordan Olson's one man press. Jordan harassed the Colt guards into multiple turnovers. The Panthers had four players score led by Jace who had 8 in the quarter. The Panthers won 67-40.

Scoring was as follows: Jace Lemmel 19, Kylen Wolff 15, Morgan Sanner 11, Braedan Bilden 10, Evan Rustad 4, Dustin Gairrett 4, and Jordan Olson 2.
