THE PRONTO School Supply Donation CHALLENGE

August 3, 2022

On Tuesday July 19th, PRONTO Construction, Johnny Chavez and Stephanie Graben, donated one thousand dollars to the “School Supply Donation for Roundup Students”. They put the challenge forward for other businesses to “make a donation and help our kids”.

For several years, small donation buckets have been put around town for people to donate to the school supply program. Last year Cheri Tate and Shelley Halvorson put together over 70 backpacks with school supplies for Roundup students in need. This year, the ladies expect to put together even more, as we continue to get new students. Each backpack costs between $15-$20, plus the cost of the supplies, which we all know can add up fast. If you are able to donate to this wonderful program, there are many jars around town. If you are a business that would like to meet the PRONTO challenge, we would like to be there to help promote your generosity and business with a photo.

If you are a parent with a student that needs help getting supplies, you can fill out an application at Northern Treasures by August 12th for your student. School supplies will be provided depending on the amount of funding available. Due to funding, there is no guarantee that all applicants will receive all the supplies needed. Please keep in mind, this program is to help families that need financial assistance in providing supplies for their children attending Roundup Public Schools.
