2022 Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship Awarded

The Annual Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship Committee had several graduating Roundup High School student applicant submissions. Two outstanding winners, receiving $500 each, who exemplify: Hard work, Dedication and Compassion where chosen. Congratulations to Mackenzie Serrano and Kaytlynn Newman, the recipients of this year’s awards.

• Mackenzie will be attending MSU in Bozeman this Fall and studying Animal Science & Agriculture Education. Mackenzie plans to become an AgEd Teacher to the students of tomorrow.

• Kaytlynn will be attending U of M in Missoula to further her education in Biology. Kaytlynn hopes to become a doctor.

We believe in you two amazing young ladies and know that you can accomplish your goals and dreams. Thank you to all of this year’s scholarship applicants. We wish you all the best in furthering your educations. Thank you to Nelsons Family and Friends whose financial support make this scholarship possible. Since the Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship was first awarded in 2015, $7800 has been awarded to graduating seniors at RHS in Nelsons honor. The Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship will continue to be awarded annually and Nelson will always be Remembered, Loved and Missed.
