Road Department Meeting Minutes

February 28, 2022

Commissioner Goffena, Commissioner Turley, Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary Kenner were present.

They are going to be putting help wanted ads in the papers and on the website for a mechanic. The Commissioners approved the job description. They will be going to the Coal Board meeting on March 10th 2022 in Billings to again ask for funds for the Old Divide Road and #4 Road chip seal. They would really like the Commissioners support and attend. They are still working on the Goffena Bridge project. Montana Department of Transportation would like to have a meeting sometime in March to discuss how to proceed. The John Deere grader is done being worked on and should be back in the shop by the end of the week. They have been doing lots of work in both shops, almost a total re-build on a Walk & Roll. They kept snow off the roads and plowed the Airport.
