Melstone hosted the 5C District Volleyball tournament October 28th-30th. Melstone faced the Grass Range-Winnett Rangers on Thursday afternoon and won in three sets (25-10, 25-19, 25-20). Melstone went on to face the Tri-City Titans on Thursday evening, winning in three sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-14). The Lady Broncs moved on to the semi-final game on Friday against the Roy-Winifred Outlaws and they lost in 4 sets (25-20, 18-25, 19-25, 21-25). Melstone faced the Grass Range-Winnett Rangers for a second time during the tournament, winning in three sets (25-22, 25-12, 25-15). Melstone advanced to the championship game and once again faced the Roy-Winifred Outlaws, the Lady Broncs lost in four sets (21-25, 22-25, 25-10, 17-25).
