PINE RIDGE GOLF COURSE MEN’S LEAGUE

Pro Pipe has pretty much cemented themselves as the top seed going in to the last week. We have four teams trying to get to the second seed which comes with a first-round bye. We have one week to go, with the top six seed making the playoffs.

We had the lowest rounds of the season which resulted in some pretty lopsided scores. Mike Palagyi shot a (-1) 35 to win low gross. We had 8 golfers shoot 37 or better this week. Low Net was won for the second week in a row by Matt McCleary (27). Rick and Kaide Griffith split the deuce pot for the night.

Flag Prizes were claimed by Jim Hughes, Joe Picchioni, Rick Griffith, Jayce Griffith, Kaide Griffith, Lance Vescovi, Darren Rook, Mike Palagyi, and Dave Knippel.

Fun Night Men’s League Scramble will be on Thursday, August 5th. All men’s league workers are encouraged to come.

PINE RIDGE GOLF COURSE MEN’S LEAGUE

What a final week! Pro Pipe took first in the regular season earning a first round BYE. We had 4 teams fighting for 2nd place, with only 2.5 points separating 2nd and 5th place. PM Services squeaked out and secured a first round BYE in the playoffs.

After all of that, A & A had back-to-back monster weeks to secure the 6th and final place by half of a point.

We encourage all men’s league participants to come to “fun night” on Thursday August 5th at 6 PM. Scramble format and dinner afterwards.

1st Round of the Playoffs will be the following Thursday, August 12 at 6 PM.

Low Gross was won by Mike Palagyi with a (-1) 35. Brett Adolph won low net with a (32). Lance Vescovi won the deuce pot by driving the par 4, hole number 2 and making the putt.
