Thank you to everyone who participated this year! Everyone commented on what a great parade(s) they were (100 degrees and all). It was especially wonderful having our “Local Heroes” Generals Paul and Butch Funk participating and the Army Marching Band.

A very special thank you to those that helped with the parade: Our MCSD for managing traffic, Tomi and Dale Alger, Julia Sirovetz Cheryl Skraptis, Susanne Casey, Don and Mary Haynes, John and Karen Simmons, Dana Milton, Larry and Mike Ross and Kenny and Kim Overvold. A big thank you to Duane and James Brewer and their families for letting us use the facilities and helping distribute flags to the crowd.

The winners were announced Saturday night at the concert. Classic Car – Blue Mustang-Cecil and Linda Wall; Antique Truck- 1950 Ford -Wendling Electric-Derrick and Laurissa; Bikes – Bull Mountain Power Sports; Bands-Mr.Wonderful Pat Perrella and his great group of musicians; Horses under harness- Gary and Phyllis Eliasson of Current Creek Ranch; Other-“ C” Brewer’s side by side.

The Grand Prize winner –The Float best depicting the theme of the Parade goes to the VFW and Ken and Daphne Kulman for their beautiful team and wagon. Thank you to the other rigs who also gave several Vets and their wives a ride. All category winners will receive $25 and the Grand Prize will receive $100.
