The Melstone HS Track Team came away from the Southern C Divisional Track Meet in Laurel on Thursday, May 20th with four championship titles. Leni Krehbiel, an exchange student from Germany, earned first place honors in the 200m, 400m and high jump. Leni will also anchor the girls 4x400m relay at State. Bryce Grebe, a sophomore, earned the title of champion in the 200m dash. Bryce also qualified in the 100m, long jump, triple jump and will be joining the 4x100m Relay for the first time this season.
