Walter Phillip Atkinson, age 74, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020 at home with his wife Pauline and dog by his side after a lengthy battle with cancer. Walt was born on February 7, 1946 and grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ with the loving guidance of his parents Harold and Eleanor Atkinson.

As a child and young man, Walter enjoyed playing sports, hunting, trapping and riding his motorcycle. He was a varsity football and baseball player, and wrestler at Hunterdon Central High School.
