Les Ockfen died at home at 10:15 on Sunday morning May 31, 2020. Les was delivered into this world on December 5, 1927 in a home, in McKenna, Washington. He never had a birth certificate. He died at 91 years of age.

Keith Caldwell will give his memorial talk, via Zoom from Warwick, New York, world head quarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Keith grew up around our family and he and his wife Lori are dearly loved by us.

Les was a wonderful man of whom I have no complaints. He was exemplary in Christian conduct as a husband and father and in performing his duties as an elder for 50 years in the Christian brotherhood of Jehovah`s Witnesses.

He was respected by everyone who knew him and we all loved him. He will be remembered for his loving patience and kindness toward all.

His hobby was rock collecting and sharing those treasures with friends. Mostly he will be remembered for his spin on words which always brought a smile or a chuckle to the faces of friends and people in general whom he happened to meet. His goodness, kindness and loving ways will be missed by his friends and especially by Sandy his wife of 56 years.
