Musselshell Valley Community Foundation has awarded $3,600 to fulfill the $7,600 funding requirement for the Stop the Bleed education courses facilitated by Roundup Memorial Healthcare (RMH). These additional funds ensure costs for the supplies associated with teaching the course are covered and the course can remain free to our community.

The Stop the Bleed program is nationally recognized for its efforts to increase awareness for lifesaving education regarding serious injury. As of October 2019, over 1 million people have been trained around the world. This program is intended not only for healthcare workers, but also for the bystander, both children and adults.

The first class will be hosted March 31st at 6pm in resident's dining room at RMH. It is free to the public and there are 20 spots available. There will be additional courses in the future.
