Joe Nichols Headlining 16th Annual RIDE

December 4, 2019

ROUNDUP, MT (November 28, 2019) - Multi-platinum Red Bow recording artist Joe Nichols is one of country music’s most praised traditional country artists, and he will be headlining the 2020 RIDE celebration! Nichols has had six #1 chart-topping songs and eight Top 10 singles to his credit, including chart-toppers like “Brokenheartsville”, “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off, and “ Gimmie That Girl”. Top 10 smashes include: “The Impossible”, “If Nobody Believed In You,” “What’s A Guy Gotta Do”, “Size Matters”, and “I’ll Wait For You”.

The four-time Grammy nominee is the winner of the Academy of Country Music’s “Top New Male Vocalist” award, Country Music Television’s “Breakthrough Video of the Year” award, and the prestigious “Horizon Award” from the Country Music Association. His last album, Crickets, was certified Platinum, which means it sold over 1 million units.

What Joe Nichols loves has always been obvious and celebrated in his music. Growing up around friends who were into anything but country, he was different. Nichols was pulled in by the realness of singers like Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Don Williams, Keith Whitley, and George Strait, and that connection would inform his whole career.

“Hopefully the stuff we’re doing last a lot longer than today’s typical country record”, he says. “But I think the irony is that retro sounds are actually what’s fresh and new right now. All we had to do in recording our latest project was what felt natural”.
