Rochelle Beatrice

Propper HatterOur sweet daughter and sister, Rochelle Hatter, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019. Not only was she beautiful and smart, she was so very funny! Every day she made us laugh.

Rochelle was born in New Jersey on September 30, 1953, and lived there until she went to college at USU in Logan, UT. Rochelle was very artistic and graduated with a degree in art. Boy, could she draw amazing pictures! Rochelle worked in Chicago and Naperville, Illinois. She then moved to Roundup, Montana. She worked at the Roundup Hospital for 15 years. While she was there she helped local artists display their work in the hospital "Art Gallery" (lobby).

Rochelle volunteered at the Rimrock Humane Society and became a member of the Board and Vice-President. Rochelle helped organize the "Wine and Whiskers" event that was held in October in Billings to help raise money for the homeless animals. Rochelle loved animals and fought for animal rights.

Rochelle had been living in Logan, UT, for the past year receiving treatment for Malignant Mesothelioma. Rochelle FOUGHT HARD! Rochelle leaves her mother, Mary Propper of River Heights, UT, brother Webster Propper, Jr. (Cindy) of Albuquerque, NM, Lila Bommer (Jerry) of Franklin, ID, and Bonnie Fowler (Russel) or River Heights, UT. She also has 1 adorable nephew, Partrick, of River Heights, UT. Rochelle also leaves behind her 2 sweet puppies, Suri and DaDa. Rochelle was preceded in death by her father, Webster Propper, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to the Rimrock Humane Society in honor of her love of animals. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
