Hurrah for Roundup Pickleball!

 

Every year about this time, Big Sky State Games comes to Montana and culminates in Billings. It is an Olympic-style sports festival for people all ages and abilities who reside in Montana. Begun in 1986 with 3,376 athletes competing in 12 sports, it grew last year to 10,000 athletes competing in 35 sports. Pickleball is one of those sports.

Last Sunday, two members of the Roundup Pickleball Club competed in pickleball in the State Games which was played at the Elks Club courts in Billings. The team of Cindy Charlton and Edith Sloan earned their Silver medals, winning them in the Beginners...
