The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley. Commissioner Pancratz and Commissioner Goffena were present. County Attorney Krakowka was also present.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the agenda as is. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve the minutes from the December 13, 2024 meeting as written. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
All Commissioners attended a meeting with the Mayor and City Council of Roundup on Tuesday December 17, 2024. Commissioner Turley said it was a very good meeting. All Commissioners think that the pool is a great community asset and have committed $20,000.00 for the next 2 years (to be revisited) to help with the pool administration. They are going to do a Memorandum of Understanding with the City and form a group to overlook the process.
All Commissioner had a Work Session on the Wier Building on Wednesday with Theresa Doumitt. They went over the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Weir Building and refined the timeline of work to be done.
Commissioner Pancratz attended a Snowy Mountain Development Board meeting on Thursday December 19, 2024 via Teams. They proposed a new membership rate that will be per capita based. They are going to have bi-monthly meetings. They are looking into having different venues to outreach and show what they are doing for the public. They need to revisit their ‘Members At Large”.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to sign the Montana Main Street Grant MOU with the City for administration of the grant received for the Wier Building Project. The City is the grant recipient, and the County is the subrecipient. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Theresa Doumitt met with the Commissioners to go over the proposed timeline for the Wier Building.
County Agent Cooley gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Eliasson would like to change his bull sale to January 20, 2025. Mr. Cooley attended a Rodeo Committee meeting, and they asked about parking on the baseball field during events. The Commissioners told him he thinks it is still being used by the baseball association. Mr. Cooley went to Melstone for a Community Needs Assessment and would like to get a Tele Health Network together. He would like to see it in Ryegate possibly also.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. They hired a new dispatch employee.
DES Director Russell gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Russell was asked to join the National Policy Committee for flood mitigation. Congratulations Justin!! The paperwork for the EMPG grant has been submitted. There were no fire incidents this week. They are training with the new extractor equipment.

Community Health Worker Berg gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. The Commissioners need to go over the lease Contract for her Office. (it will be signed at the December 27, 204 meeting)
Ambulance Director Solberg met with the Commissioners. They are doing EMT training classes. A new ambulance should be ready by February 2026.
Public Comment:
Angie Tatman with the Rodeo Committee asked the Commissioners if the cameras at the arena are working. They will talk to the Sheriff’s Office to see.
