Ingredients

Dough for single-crust pie

1/2 cup butter

2-1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 large eggs, beaten

2 tablespoons whiskey or bourbon, optional

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
