Roundup Panthers take a loss to Baker's Spartans but have great hopes for the rest of the season. The Spartans won the game 24-0, and throughout the game we see a drastic change in aggression from the Roundup Panthers. A quote by head coach Tom Cliff "We had a much better effort last night. We still have work to do in every area of the game but I am proud of the way we are still fighting and working at getting better. They have embraced the challenges of a brutal early schedule and look forward to ending the season strong." Cliff also Claims "Abi Pitman played like a beast! " We can see Tom Cliff has confidence in the rest of the season, but you might be interested in how the player felt about last night. Personally I think we played The most aggressive we've played all season but I look forward to the better there is to come.Trey Stigen, our Center, nose, and sometimes defensive end, number 60 states "Losing isn't something to look at and frown upon, but look at it as a way to learn from mistakes" Number 88 Ethen Shoup, says "You know it's a good game when you feel motivated at the end" It is safe to say that the Roundup's Panther football team has great trust in the rest of their season, and considers this loss a growing point.
