2022 Annual Book Sale Thank You, Roundup!

August 17, 2022

Thank you to the Friends of Roundup Community Library, to the many volunteers, and to the book lovers and readers of our community who made the 2022 Annual Book Sale a success.

Many community volunteers helped at various times during our four-day event. They include Bella Klein, Meaghan Eiseleien, Levi Ray, Addison McHenry, Lolo and Alicia Godfrey, Donna Marmon, Betty Stewart, Peggy Unterseher, Roberta Hagstrom, Jeffrey Arthur, Shawn Dutton, and the Earth Science team of Tom, Vanessa, Keagan, Dustin, Sabrina, Asten, and Dustin. If any community volunteers were missed in the list, my apologies.

Nearly 140 patrons purchased about 2000 books and media items. Thank you for your patronage. As yet, Friends of the Library has not made a decision of how to use the funding brought in by the sale. In the past, we have enabled the purchases of bookcases, chairs and tables, a children’s area rug, and new computers for public use.

Thanks, also, to the Roundup Masons for allowing us to use the Masonic Hall for the sale. Finally, thanks to the Friends of the Library members who worked so diligently to set up the sale, work during the sale, and dismantle the sale. These members include Darcy Dutton, Dale Alger, Dale Rittierodt, Anita Burch, Mary Purcell, Dixie Liggett, Anne Arthur, Vivian Edwards, and Tomi Alger. The efforts of everyone are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Roundup, for a great book sale.
