Harley Blegen, owner of HB Feeds, recently purchased the property heading East from Roundup on highway 12. The store opened in early July. He is selling feed for every species of domestic farm animals. "Your local source for feed, tubs, and Mineral. Keeping your feed program simple." The new feed store is conveniently located. He will have feed by the bag, as well as offering large quantity sales and bulk discounts. He is keeping the prices low "no more than 25-50 cents mark-up" Harley states.

He plans to expand the location with a warehouse. He has worked for both Westfeed, and Hubbard feed plants in Billings, in both the manufacturing and the retail part of the business. While he is an independent dealer, he continues an ongoing relationship with the feed companies, and will be retailing the feed locally. He can do bulk semi loads of commodity dried distilled greens as a direct ship from the plant to the farm through his retail. He also has a couple of sources of mineral tubs. Harley has access to Hubbard's nutritionist Josh Stroh out of Roy, Montana for product support for anyone with questions and information about the nutritional quality of the feeds. The feeds are all manufactured in Billings, so the supply chain is local, which is a great advantage during the current difficulties with trucking. Harley is stocked up on mineral from a preordering loads this spring. He will deliver for a reasonable rate, and accommodate his customers as much as he can. Come down to the convenient location, and see what is available or call 701-212-0112 to reach Harley with any questions.
