Road Department Minutes March 7, 2022

Commissioner Goffena, Commissioner Turley, Road and Bridge Supervisor Stockert and Secretary were present.

Montana Department of transportation would like the Road Department to stop working on the Goffena Bridge replacement road. MACRS is March 28 – 30th in Great Falls. Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Turley will be attending. The Commissioners approved the 2023 mileage certification for our Gas Tax allocation for fiscal year $57,472.09. The “Help Wanted” ad will run this week and next week. Applications will be accepted until 8:30 on March 21. The Coal Board meeting is Thursday March 10, 2022 for the Chip Seal project. Blades were sent out to comb some roads that were in really bad shape. N. Delphia, Melstone-Custer, Golf Course, Horsethief, Alec Roy, Goulding Creek, East Parrot and #4. Cattle guards repaired in the East, Four Mile and Ragged Point.
