County Commissioner’s Meeting Minutes

November 26, 2021

There are limited meetings today due to limited staff.

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Goffena. Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Pancratz were present.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Pancratz made the motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the minutes from the November 19, 2021 meeting as is. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

There were no board meetings for the week.

Maintenance Supervisor Jett gave her weekly report to the Commissioners. Pronto Construction did a great job on the downstairs bathroom. The inside hand rails at the Commons are being worked on. They still have to do the outside hand rails. The budget was discussed with the issue of inflation. Commissioner Pancratz is going to be working with each department for the quarterly budget report.

Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report to the Commissioners. Mr. Lesnik found a 40 foot long, 9 feet 6-inch-tall shipping container he is going to buy for storage of old evidence and records.

DES Director Russell and Coordinator Rook gave their weekly report to the Commissioners. There will be a Fire Council meeting December 2, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. They will be working on re-numbering the trucks with the numbering system. There were 4 new addresses this week. There are 64 active COVID cases in Musselshell County. They have hired a part-time Rural Addressing person to help with street signs.

There being no further business Commissioner Turley made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Pancratz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
