American Idol Winners, Laine Hardy and Caleb Johnson, Ben Haggard Coming to RIDE in 2022

December 1, 2021

Laine Hardy is on a roll! The 21-year-old entertainer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana won the popular American Idol in 2019, has already headlined a bunch of shows across America, recently released his debut album “Here’s To Anyone”, has been nominated for best new album by the Country Now Awards 2021, and next year he’ll be bringing his show to Roundup, Montana for RIDE’s 17 Extravaganza. Laine released a single in May called ”Memorize You” that he sang it on ABC TV’s The Bachelor show. He’s one of the brightest young stars in country music today and he’ll be sharing the July 2nd 2022 stage with another great young star, Ben Haggard.

Ben Haggard is the youngest son of the legendary Merle Haggard. He and brother, Noel Haggard, and the band (which could be some of Merle’s band), The Strangers, will grace the Outdoor City Stage in Roundup with Laine Hardy for the country evening of Roundup Independence Day’s 17th annual event. Ben played lead guitar for his hall-of- fame father during Merle’s last years of touring. Brother Noel often opened The Hag’s shows for many years. Ben has turned down several record label deals, and is trying to do things his way, a lot like Merle Haggard.

Caleb Johnson’s sole mission is to spread the gospel of rock-n-roll. He won American Idol in 2014, and has toured with KISS, Black Stone Cherry, and Trans Siberian Orchestra. He has electrified thousands of fans with his thunderous voice and magnetic stage presence. He will be in Roundup to kick off RIDE on July 1st, 2022 with his band, The Ramblin Saints. The Friday evening show will be one of the best rock shows ever in town, so you don’t want to miss this one! Hot off the heels of his critically acclaimed 2019 album, Born From Southern Ground, Johnson followed that up with his latest album called “Mountain Mojo Vol. 1”. He recorded it in Nashville at the great Blackbird Studios. It was engineered by Grammy winner, Brandon Bell.

You can buy your wristbands early at the Roundup Christmas Stroll on Saturday December 4th for $35. That will get you into both great shows. Don’t wait till after the price goes up. They will make great Christmas presents. Bands will be sold at the Chamber of Commerce booth beside Musselshell Valley Equipment. See you there and see you at RIDE 2022. Both will be great!
