James (Jim) Franklin Boyles, of Roundup, went to the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 6, 2021. He was born in Billings, on April 8, 1943 to Charles and Annetta Boyles, their second of three kids. Jim spent a majority of his childhood in Bridger MT, before moving to Billings and completing high school at Billings Senior High.

Jim enlisted in the United States Army in 1969. He served for two years as a medical corpsman and mechanic in Korea. He received the National Defense Service Medal.
