Allen Dow Harper passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings on May 25, 2021 after a long illness. Allen was a 16 year resident of Roundup Montana. He came from a family with a long line of military service. He was born at the US Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington and after high school entered the US Navy BUD/S program at Coronado, California in 1969. Allen served several tours in Vietnam with Navy unit Seal Team One in the MACV Special Operations Group and in what was called the "Brown Water Navy".
