The Cross Country PieceMakers Quilting Group had their annual retreat at Abba Haven in August. Our theme for the year was “Petting Zoo”. We had 31 members who attended with 20 tables set up for quilters. Most are local people and Dorelle Carpenter got the prize for coming the farthest – Arizona. This group started around 1993 and the two charter members attending were Rene Evans and Annie Shirley. Currently we are about 55 members strong.

Many of us made a Project Bag. This is a very useful bag and each was personalized.
