Road Department Minutes

Commissioner Goffena, Commissioner Turley and Road Secretary Kenner were present.

Ms. Kenner asked the Commissioners if there could be minutes taken at the Quarterly Department Head meetings and the Road Supervisors report read at the meeting. The Department Meetings are on Fridays now and the Road Department does not work on Fridays. It is important for everyone to know what is going on and get updates for all Departments. The Commissioner’s will have someone do the minutes at the meeting and make sure the Road report is read. A nomination for 4-H Road Bridge was sent in for the MDT OFF-System Bridge Program. The Commissioners will be doing a Road Crew meeting this week. Stuff done: sand hauled for water tank/sand shed. 2 cattle guards cleaned on Majerus Rd., 3 of the crew to LTAP classes, tree cleaned on W. Musselshell. The plan: Hot mix schedule once Main Street Billings is complete. Pull the 16’ cattle guard from Snowy Mountain. And install a 24’, put 16’ at Cameron to replace damaged one and install new culvert on Cameron the week of the 16th.
