Last Friday afternoon, I attended a problem-solving meeting called by Sheriff Lesnik. The topic was the just-completed RIDE weekend. The groups represented were the RIDE committee, VFW, Rodeo Roundup, and the Chamber of Commerce.

We discussed problem areas that occurred and how to be proactive in the future to prevent a repeat. At the end of the meeting, some barbs were thrown at the paper, which had announced the VFW would have a parade Sunday, July 4th.
